Advance Payment Bookings

Full payment is required at booking.
 - 
– Cancellation 14+ days before the excursion – 100% refund (minus bank/credit card fees).
– Cancellation 7–13 days before – 50% refund.
– Cancellation less than 7 days before – no refund. - 
If Dhow Adventures Zanzibar must cancel (including for weather or safety), you’ll receive a full refund minus bank/credit card fees.
 - 
No-shows or late arrivals are non-refundable.
 - 
Please note: From September 1, 2025, a new government-set Marine Conservation Fee of US $10 per person applies to all marine activities in protected areas (e.g., Menai Bay). This fee will be collected by Dhow Adventures Zanzibar on site, before the excursion, and transferred directly to the Marine Conservation authorities.

Standard Bookings (Pay on Arrival)​

– Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance (subject to availability).
– Less than 24 hours’ notice, no-shows, or late arrivals – full amount is due. -
